Sig Sauer
The Sig Sauer Echo thermal clip-on is a compact 1-8x25mm thermal optic built for hunters and tactical shooters who want to layer thermal capability onto an existing riflescope or red dot without replacing it entirely. At just under 5 inches long and weighing less than 19 ounces, it mounts via quick-detach and can pull double duty as a standalone thermal sight when needed. The 640x512 LWIR thermal core delivers clean image quality across changing light and weather, with thermal sensitivity down to 20 millidegrees—sharp enough to spot game and threats in complete darkness.
What sets the Echo apart is its practical runtime and configurability. A pair of rechargeable 18650 batteries keeps it running for over 9 hours per charge, and you can manage settings, stream live video, and adjust thermal palettes through the BDX app. The 1024x768 AMOLED microdisplay is optimized for clip-on use, minimizing parallax issues you'd encounter with less refined thermal clips. Record still photos and video with audio built in—useful for documenting hunts, verifying game at distance, or training footage on the range.
It's sealed to IP67, so rain, dust, and field use won't compromise the electronics. The package ships with an EVA case, protective bikini cover, both batteries, and a USB-C cable, so you're ready to hunt the same day it arrives. Backed by Sig Sauer's Infinite Guarantee, this is thermal glass built to last.
