A solid scope mount isn't an afterthought—it's the foundation of an accurate rifle. The Seekins Precision MXM Cantilever Scope Mount in 30mm, 0 MOA delivers the rigid, repeatable hold your optic needs, whether you're dialing in at the range or hunting at distance. Built from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and machined to 1913 Picatinny spec, this mount gives you the clamping surface and engineering that separates a precision setup from a loose arrangement.

What sets the MXM apart is its monolithic design and no-compromise engineering. The scope rings are .8" wide—wider than standard offerings—to distribute clamping force across a larger area and grip your optic with confidence. The center lug is machined directly into the base rather than added on, which means it mates with your Picatinny rail with minimal play and maximum recoil transfer efficiency. Grade 8 T-25 Torx fasteners rated for high torque specs mean you won't strip threads during assembly or need to revisit them after hard use.

Seekins Precision scope rings arrive ready to use with no lapping or modification required—the CNC machining handles that from the factory. Type III hardcoat anodizing in matte black protects the aluminum from corrosion while keeping glare to a minimum. This is the kind of precision mounting system that rewards you with consistent zero return and reliable performance across seasons and conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this mount fit my rifle with a Picatinny rail?

Yes. The MXM is built to the 1913 Picatinny specification and is designed to fit standard Picatinny rails. The center lug is machined to mate with Picatinny slots with minimal clearance for a tight, repeatable fit.

Do I need to lap the rings before mounting my scope?

No. Seekins Precision scope rings are precision CNC-machined and arrive ready to use without modification or lapping required.

What scope tube diameter does this mount accept?

This mount is designed for 30mm scope tubes, the most common diameter for modern hunting and long-range optics.

What's the advantage of the machined center lug over a cross-pin design?

The center lug is machined directly into the mount base and provides a solid, integral recoil interface with your Picatinny rail. This design eliminates the weak point that cross-pin lugs can create and delivers more reliable recoil transfer with minimal clearance.
