Brownells
The Brownells Cantilever 30mm Scope Mount is a solid one-piece mounting solution built for AR-15s and other modern sporting rifles that accept Picatinny rail attachments. If you're running a 30mm scope and want it positioned far enough forward to give you real eye relief while keeping your head in a comfortable, natural shooting position, this billet aluminum mount delivers the offset and clearance you need without unnecessary bulk.
Machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, the mount achieves that balance by cantilever design—it extends forward on the receiver, lifting your optic centerline 1.4 inches above the receiver rail. That height clears the objective bell and gives you room to work while maintaining a proper cheekweld on your stock. The one-piece construction means minimal parts to shift; once you dial in your zero, the mount and scope should return to that point if you remove and reinstall the assembly. Steel hex nuts lock the mount in place with real holding force, so your optic stays put through recoil and hard use.
At just 7.5 ounces, the cantilever mount won't tip the balance of your rifle. It's made in the USA and finished in matte black, so it blends cleanly with most AR platforms and doesn't introduce unwanted glint. Whether you're building a precision rifle for paper, steel, or hunting, or upgrading an existing setup with a quality 30mm scope, this Brownells mount gives you a trusted, repeatable platform to shoot from.

Yes, as long as your AR-15 has a standard Picatinny receiver rail, this mount will attach. The cantilever design works with most AR platforms that accept top-rail accessories.
Any riflescope with a 30mm tube can be mounted here. The mount provides the platform; scope choice is yours based on your magnification, reticle, and optical quality preferences.
The mount positions the centerline of your 30mm scope approximately 1.4 inches above the receiver. This height is designed to clear the objective bell and provide comfortable head position without requiring a riser or spacer.
The one-piece cantilever design and hardened steel locking fasteners are built to minimize zero shift. If you remove and reinstall the assembly, it should return to zero with little-to-no adjustment, though a quick verification at the range is always good practice.
