Sea Sense Marine
The Sea Sense Trolling Motor Plug Male 24V 3Pin 8Ga is a heavy-duty electrical connector built for the unique demands of freshwater and saltwater trolling motor installations. This 24-volt, 3-pin male plug handles the power demands of modern trolling motors while resisting the corrosive environment of boat wiring. Whether you're upgrading an aging connector, troubleshooting a weak connection, or building a custom trolling motor harness, this plug delivers the reliable contact and durability you need to keep your electric motor running strong season after season.
Trolling motor electrical connections take a beating—water exposure, salt spray, vibration, and the constant on-off cycling of shallow-water fishing all work against standard connectors. A quality replacement or upgrade plug like this one ensures your 24V system maintains solid electrical contact without voltage drop or intermittent failures that can strand you away from structure. The 8-gauge capability means this connector is sized for the substantial current draw of mid-range and larger trolling motors.
Installation is straightforward for anglers comfortable with basic marine wiring; make sure your existing harness and receptacle match this 3-pin, 24-volt spec before ordering. If you're retrofitting older equipment or troubleshooting connection issues, verify your motor's power and pin configuration to confirm compatibility. Keep a spare on hand—a failed trolling motor connection in low-light conditions or a remote backwater will make you wish you had one.
| Voltage | 24V |
| Pin Configuration | 3-Pin Male |
| Wire Gauge | 8Ga |
| Brand | Sea Sense Marine |
This is a 24-volt, 3-pin male connector sized for 8-gauge wiring. Before purchasing, confirm your trolling motor system uses 24V power and a matching 3-pin female receptacle. Check your motor's documentation or existing connector to verify pin count and voltage.
Many mid-range 24-volt trolling motors use 3-pin connectors for power and foot-pedal control circuits. Confirm your specific motor model matches this configuration—some use different pin counts or voltage ratings.
Yes, this connector is designed to resist corrosion in marine environments. Still, rinse it with fresh water after saltwater use and store it dry to maximize service life.
You receive the male 3-pin plug itself. Ensure you have compatible 8-gauge marine-grade wire and a matching female receptacle for your installation.
