Savage Arms
The Savage 93R17F .17HMR bolt-action rifle delivers a lightweight, affordable platform for small-game hunting and precision rifle shooting at modest distances. Chambered in .17HMR with a 20.75-inch barrel and 5+1 capacity, this rifle strips away unnecessary weight and complexity—it tips the scales at just 5 pounds, making it ideal for hunters who cover ground on foot or shooters who value maneuverability at the range. The synthetic stock stands up to field use without fussing, and the blued barrel finish is classic Savage reliability.
What sets the 93R17F apart is Savage's AccuTrigger system, a user-adjustable mechanism that lets you dial in your preferred pull weight without a gunsmith visit. More importantly, even when set light, the AccuTrigger remains mechanically safe—no risk of discharge from handling, dropping, or jarring. The refined teardrop safety lever makes operation smooth and intuitive, a detail that matters when you're working the rifle in the field or at the bench. Combined with the crisp, predictable break the AccuTrigger delivers, these features help you extract the genuine accuracy potential the rifle offers.
The 93R17F is built for shooters and hunters who shoot .17HMR—a cartridge prized for its flat trajectory, low recoil, and minimal noise signature. Whether you're pursuing prairie dogs, foxes, or varmints, or simply ringing steel at the range, the light recoil and quick handling make extended shooting sessions comfortable and accurate. At 39.5 inches overall length, it won't feel unwieldy in tight blinds or truck cabs.

.17HMR is a popular small-game and varmint cartridge known for its flat trajectory, low noise, and minimal recoil. It's widely used for hunting prairie dogs, foxes, coyotes, and other varmints, and is also favored for precision shooting at the range due to its ballistic efficiency and forgiving recoil impulse.
The rifle weighs just 5 pounds, making it one of the lighter bolt-action options in its class. That minimal weight translates to less fatigue during extended hunts or days spent hiking between shooting locations, while the short 39.5-inch overall length keeps it maneuverable in vehicles and blinds.
