Savage Arms
The Savage Impulse Klym in 6.5 Creedmoor is a modern bolt-action rifle built for shooters who refuse to compromise between precision and portability. This is a right-hand, centerfire rifle that combines cutting-edge materials—a carbon fiber wrapped stainless barrel, a custom carbon fiber stock, and an aluminum receiver—into a genuinely lightweight package that doesn't sacrifice rigidity or accuracy. At 6.69 pounds, the Klym is designed for hunters and long-range shooters who count every ounce on the trail or range.
Savage engineers the Impulse action around speed and reliability. You get a smooth, ambidextrous bolt handle with a threaded design (5/16x24) and carbon fiber knob, a user-adjustable AccuTrigger (1.5–4 lb pull), and a 2-position tang safety for confident handling in the field. The 24-inch barrel is threaded 5/8x24 for suppressors or muzzle devices; an Omniport muzzle brake comes installed. The integral 20 MOA rail is machined directly into the aluminum receiver, eliminating the need for a separate base and giving you a rock-solid mounting surface for optics.
The stock is where the Klym really stands out. FBT Fine Ballistic Tools engineered a carbon fiber forend and buttstock with an additive-manufactured center section for strength without bulk. The adjustable comb lets you dial in your sight picture with one button, and Magnaswitch sling attachments keep your carry options flexible. A single 4-round magazine feeds the 6.5 Creedmoor, and the 13.75-inch length of pull accommodates most shooters without needing an adjustable pad.
This is a rifle for serious shooters: those chasing elk at elevation, shooting precision matches from the bench, or building a lightweight backcountry rig. The Klym's carbon fiber construction, Cerakote finish, and precision tolerances make it a legitimate hunting and competition tool, not a gimmick.
