Savage Arms
The Savage Arms A22 FV-SR is a .22 LR semi-auto rifle built for shooters who want reliable performance, genuine accuracy, and the versatility to upgrade. This rimfire semi-automatic combines a user-adjustable AccuTrigger with a medium-contour button-rifled barrel and suppressor-ready muzzle—giving you a serious .22 platform that punches above its weight for plinking, small game, and precision practice on a budget.
What sets the A22 FV-SR apart is the attention to detail in its design. The straight blowback action is proven and dependable, while the 10-round rotary magazine feeds reliably shot after shot. The muzzle is threaded and features a target crown, meaning you can thread on a suppressor or brake without modifying the rifle. The one-piece Picatinny rail comes drilled and tapped from the factory, so you can mount optics immediately—no gunsmithing required.
The rifle wears a rugged synthetic stock in black with a matte finish, keeping weight down at 5.6 pounds and durability up. Two QD studs are ready for slings. At 34.75 inches overall with a 16.5-inch barrel, it's handy enough for casual shooting or small-space ranges, and the 1-in-9 twist rate stabilizes standard .22 LR ammo across a wide velocity range. This is a .22 that respects your time and your money.
