The Remington 700 .308 Win bolt-action rifle in black delivers the accuracy and reliability that made the Model 700 a standard-bearer for hunters, precision shooters, and tactical users. This 20-inch heavy barrel variant chambers the versatile .308 Winchester—a cartridge that handles everything from medium-game hunting to long-range target work—and ships ready to suppress or add a muzzle brake thanks to its factory-threaded 5/8-24 muzzle. Whether you're building a suppressed hunting rifle, setting up for the range, or assembling a duty-ready platform, this Model 700 gives you the foundation to do it right.

Built around the rock-solid Remington 700 action, this rifle pairs a pillar-bedded Hogue OverMolded stock with a crisp X-Mark Pro trigger tuned to a clean 3.5-pound break. The 1:10 twist rate accommodates a wide range of .308 loads, from 168-grain match rounds to heavier 220-grain projectiles and subsonic ammunition. A 4+1 magazine capacity keeps you in the fight without excess bulk, and the thumb safety is accessible and intuitive. At 39.63 inches overall, this is a handy, packable rifle that doesn't sacrifice sight radius or capability.

Remington includes a thread protector installed on the muzzle—remove it and you're ready to thread on a suppressor, brake, or other 5/8-24 compatible device. The black finish and functional stock design appeal to hunters who want no-nonsense gear and shooters who value modularity. This is a rifle that rewards good technique and minimal fuss.
