Redding Reloading Equipment
The Redding Type S Full Bushing Die for 6.5 Gap 4S lets you resize the full length of your brass while maintaining precision control over the case neck in a single operation. Built on Redding's reputation for accuracy, this die uses interchangeable bushings in .001" increments—the same system as their dedicated neck-sizing dies—so you can dial in exactly the neck tension your reload demands. The adjustable decapping rod gives you flexibility to size only part of the neck length when that's what your load needs, and the bushing's ability to self-center on the case neck keeps concentricity tight where it matters most.
This is the die for reloaders who want both the efficiency of a full-length resize and the neck control that separate neck dies provide. Whether you're precision rifle hunting, preparing ammo for competition, or just building consistent loads, the Type S design eliminates the compromise between speed and control.
Note that bushings are sold separately, and by removing the bushing and internal parts, this die can also function as a body die if you need that flexibility in your sizing routine.
| Caliber | 6.5 Gap 4S |
| Die Type | Type S Full Bushing Die |
| Bushing Increments | .001" |
| Bushings Included | None (sold separately) |
Bushings are sold separately. The die uses the same .001" increment interchangeable bushings as Redding's neck-sizing dies, so you'll need to select the bushing size appropriate for your brass and desired neck tension.
Yes. The Type S is designed for full-length resizing with neck control in one operation, but by removing the bushing and internal parts, you can also use it as a body die if needed.
The interchangeable bushing system and adjustable decapping rod let you control exactly how much of the case neck gets sized. The bushing self-centers on the neck, which improves concentricity—something a standard die cannot achieve to the same degree.
Yes. The combination of full-length body sizing and independent neck control makes this die popular with precision rifle reloaders who need consistent concentricity and neck tension without the extra steps of separate sizing operations.
