Redding Reloading Equipment
A neck sizing die for 6.5mm Creedmoor from Redding is a precision reloading tool built to resize only the neck of your fired brass, not the shoulder or body. This approach lets you extend case life and tighten shot-to-shot consistency compared to full-length sizing—especially valuable if you're loading for a bolt-action rifle where cases stay in the same chamber. Neck sizing works best when you're not moving ammo between different rifles, since each firearm's chamber is slightly unique.
Redding dies are machined on Hardinge Super-Precision lathes to hold some of the tightest tolerances in the industry. Each die is heat-treated in atmospherically controlled furnaces, hand-polished for smooth operation, and ultrasonically cleaned before it ships. That attention to process means your die will hold its dimensions and perform reliably for decades of reloading.
If you're running a match-grade or accuracy-focused 6.5 Creedmoor load, neck sizing reduces case working and can improve consistency. Just remember: brass that's been neck-sized should stay with the same rifle unless you full-length resize it later. That's the trade-off for precision and longevity.

| Caliber | 6.5mm Creedmoor |
| Type | Neck Sizing Die |
| Material | Finest alloy steels |
No. Neck sizing dies resize only the neck, leaving the shoulder and body untouched. Fired cases should never move between rifles unless you full-length resize them first, since each chamber is slightly different.
Neck sizing extends brass life by reducing case working and can improve accuracy by maintaining tighter tolerances—particularly useful for bolt-action precision loads where ammo stays in one rifle.
Yes. This die is designed for bottleneck cartridges like 6.5mm Creedmoor used in bolt-action rifles, where neck sizing offers the best combination of accuracy and case longevity.
