Redding Reloading Equipment
The Redding Competition Pro Carbide Die Set for .40 S&W and 10mm Auto is purpose-built for reloaders running progressive machines who want faster cycles and cleaner brass without compromise. This three-die set strips away unnecessary components and rebuilds the workflow around what actually matters on a progressive press: efficient sizing, precise seating, and separate crimping for superior consistency.
The carbide sizing die fitted with a decapping unit handles the heavy lifting on fired brass. By pairing it with a dedicated seating die—engineered for bullet seating alone, no crimping function—you gain the control that serious handloaders need. The final operation, a dedicated crimp die (Profile Crimp for .40 S&W and 10mm), is supplied separately so you can dial in crimp force independently of seating depth. This three-operation approach eliminates the guesswork that comes from trying to seat and crimp in one stroke. All dies feature a large radius mouth for smooth case entry, a must-have design for progressive machine users who can't afford case jams or hesitation.
If you're loading pistol ammo in volume and you've outgrown single-stage reliability, this set lets you build match-grade rounds on a progressive without the quality shortcuts. Carbide construction means no sizing lube required—another efficiency gain that compounds over thousands of rounds.
| Caliber | .40 S&W and 10mm Auto |
| Set Type | Three-die set (Sizing, Seating, Crimp) |
| Sizing Die | Titanium Carbide with decapping unit |
| Seating Die | Competition Seating die with micrometer adjustments |
| Crimp Die | Profile Crimp |
| Application | Progressive reloading machines |
| Material | Carbide construction |
Yes. The Redding Competition Pro series is specifically designed for progressive machines. The dies feature large radius mouths for smooth case entry, a critical design for high-speed progressive operation.
Separating seating and crimping into two distinct operations lets you fine-tune each independently. This approach delivers superior crimp consistency and lets you dial in seating depth without being constrained by crimp geometry.
No. Carbide dies eliminate the need for sizing lubricant, saving you time and cleanup work, especially valuable when loading in high volume.
The set contains a Titanium Carbide sizing die with decapping unit, a Competition seating die with micrometer adjustments, and a Profile Crimp die.
