Redding Reloading Equipment
Precision bullet seating is where reloading quality gets decided, and the Redding 6.5mm CM bullet seating die gives you the control to get it right. Built for 7/8-14 press compatibility, this competition-grade die features a micrometer-adjustable seating mechanism that locks in seating depth to the thousandth of an inch. Whether you're building ammunition for precision rifle matches, long-range hunting, or test loads for load development, consistent bullet seating depth is non-negotiable—this die delivers it without the frustration of click adjustments or dead zones.
The sliding chamber design is engineered for smooth, repeatable operation that won't wear out or develop slop after thousands of rounds. The micrometer is calibrated in .001\" increments for granular control, and because it's infinitely adjustable rather than click-based, you can dial in exactly the seating depth your load demands. The zero set feature means you can establish a reference point at your preferred seating depth, making it easy to return to that setting or dial up a fresh load variation without guesswork.
This is a purpose-built tool for reloaders who treat ammunition as seriously as their shooting. Redding's reputation in precision reloading comes from attention to machining quality and functionality that lasts—both visible in the tight tolerances and smooth operation of this seater.
| Caliber | 6.5mm CM (Creedmoor) |
| Press Compatibility | 7/8-14 threaded dies |
| Adjustment Type | Micrometer, infinitely adjustable |
| Micrometer Calibration | .001\" increments |
| Special Features | Zero set function, sliding chamber |
This die is designed for standard 7/8-14 threaded press stations. If your press accepts 7/8-14 dies (the industry standard for rifle reloading presses), this die will fit. Check your press manual or specifications if you're unsure of your thread size.
Micrometer adjustment on this die is infinitely variable—you can dial any seating depth without relying on detents or clicks. This gives you finer control and eliminates the "closest click" compromise. The .001\" calibration means small, precise adjustments are straightforward to make and reproduce.
Yes. The zero set function lets you establish a reference point at your ideal seating depth. You can then note that micrometer position for future reloading sessions, making it easy to return to the same depth or dial in variations intentionally.
Yes. This is a competition-grade seating die built for the precision and repeatability that match ammunition demands. The smooth chamber and precise micrometer adjustment support the level of consistency required for serious rifle competition and load development.
