Redding Reloading Equipment
The Redding 270 Winchester Bushing Full Length Die Set gives reloaders the precision and control needed for consistent, match-grade ammunition. This two-die set pairs a Type S Bushing Full Sizing Die with a Competition Bullet Seating Die, making it well-suited for hunters and precision shooters who want to load 270 Winchester rounds that chamber smoothly and shoot tight groups.
The Type S sizing die handles full-length resizing while letting you dial in exactly how much the case neck gets squeezed down. The real advantage here is the interchangeable bushing system—you pick the bushing size that matches your brass and bullets, giving you complete control over neck tension without trial and error or custom die work. This approach helps maintain consistent bullet-to-neck fit across your whole lot of ammo.
The seating die is where accuracy gets locked in. Its micrometer adjustment calibrates in increments as fine as .001 inch, so you can set bullet seating depth with confidence. The floating seating stem follows the bullet in as it seats, reducing misalignment and keeping bullets centered in the case—a detail that pays dividends when you're chasing tight groups at distance or across a loading bench.
Whether you're building match ammunition for a 270 Winchester rifle or want to tighten up your handloading process, this set gives you the tools to work with precision and repeatability.
| Caliber | 270 Winchester |
| Die Type | Type S Bushing Full Length Sizing Die and Competition Seating Die |
| Seating Micrometer Increment | .001 inch |

The bushings let you choose the exact inside diameter that matches your brass and bullet combination. This gives you precise control over how much the case neck is sized and how tight the bullet fits, eliminating guesswork and improving consistency shot to shot.
The micrometer on the Competition Seating Die calibrates in .001 inch increments, allowing you to set and repeat bullet seating depth with accuracy suitable for match-grade ammunition and precision hunting loads.
The set includes a Type S Bushing Full Sizing Die and a Competition Bullet Seating Die—the two dies needed for a complete 270 Winchester handloading setup.
Yes. The micrometer-adjusted seating depth and floating seating stem work together to keep bullets centered in the case, reducing concentricity problems that can affect consistency and group size.
