RCBS
If you reload pistol ammunition, a quality bullet mould is essential to your consistency and economy. The RCBS Round Nose Pistol Bullet Mould in double cavity .310 120 grain gives you the platform to cast accurate, uniform bullets batch after batch. Built from solid cast iron blocks machined to exact tolerances, this mould delivers the precision repeatability serious handloaders expect—whether you're loading for match sessions, general practice, or field work.
Cast iron construction means durability under the thermal stress of repeated casting cycles. The mould blocks are precision-ground square to ensure perfect alignment, and steel pins keep the cavity blocks mated true even after years of heavy use. That matters: sloppy alignment leads to inconsistent bullet shape and weight variation. RCBS engineered this mould to hold up.
The 3/16-inch sprue plate is secured with tempered steel screws and spring washers—a straightforward, robust design that won't loosen through hundreds of castings. If you're committed to casting your own bullets rather than buying factory-cast or swaged rounds, this double-cavity mould lets you work efficiently without sacrificing the accuracy your reloads demand.
| Caliber | .310 |
| Bullet Weight | 120 grains |
| Cavity Count | Double (2) |
| Material | Cast iron blocks |
| Sprue Plate Thickness | 3/16 inch |
| Fastener Type | Tempered steel screws with spring washers |
This mould casts .310 caliber bullets at 120 grains. Verify compatibility with your specific pistol's chamber and reloading data before use.
Double cavity moulds cast two bullets per cycle, which increases your throughput compared to single cavity designs. If you cast in volume, this saves time and effort.
Yes. The cast iron blocks are precision-ground and held square by steel alignment pins, so the mould maintains its accuracy even after extended use. Proper care and regular cleaning will keep it performing reliably.
The 3/16-inch sprue plate is fastened with tempered steel screws and spring washers, which provide a solid, dependable hold without the need for frequent adjustment once set.
