The RCBS 3-Die Carbide Roll Crimp Set for 500 Smith & Wesson is built for handloaders working with one of the most powerful commercial handgun cartridges available. If you're reloading 500 S&W rounds—whether for hunting, big-bore sport shooting, or precision load development—this three-die set handles the full sizing, expansion, and seating cycle with the durability and efficiency that RCBS is known for in the reloading community.

The centerpiece here is the carbide sizer die. Carbide construction means you can run cases through without lubrication, saving time and mess during the sizing and de-priming stages. That's a real quality-of-life upgrade when you're processing dozens or hundreds of straight-wall magnum pistol cases. The expander die then opens the case mouth to the right diameter, readying it to accept your bullet and imparting the case mouth flare or bell needed for reliable feeding and seating.

Rounding out the set is the seater die, which seats the bullet to your desired depth and applies a roll crimp simultaneously. Roll crimping is the standard method for revolver and lever-action loads, and it locks the bullet in place without the need for a separate crimping step. This set streamlines your workflow and lets you produce consistent, reliable rounds every time you step up to the press.
