The Radian Raptor ambidextrous charging handle assembly for AR-10/LR-308 is built for shooters who demand speed and control from either shoulder. Whether you're running your rifle strong-side or support-side, this precision aluminum charging handle eliminates the need to shift your grip or manipulate the rifle during operation. The large, ergonomic lever extends from both sides of the receiver, making rapid bolt manipulation fluid and intuitive whether you're cycling rounds on the range, running drills, or working through tactical scenarios. Unlike traditional single-sided handles that force awkward hand transitions, the Raptor puts control at your fingertips from either direction.

Radian machined the Raptor from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum—the same material spec used in aerospace applications—then finished it with mil-spec anodizing to stand up to hard use and corrosion. This combination delivers a charging handle that's light, strong, and built to last through thousands of rounds. Made in the USA, the Raptor reflects Radian's engineering philosophy: solve real-world problems with precision, then manufacture it right.

The ambidextrous design is especially valuable if you shoot both left and right, train for weapon transitions, or simply want the flexibility to operate your rifle efficiently regardless of shooting position or barricade. Installation is straightforward on any AR-10 or LR-308 platform.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the Radian Raptor fit my AR-10 or LR-308?

Yes. The Raptor is designed for AR-10 and LR-308 platforms and installs on the charging handle assembly of these rifles.

Is the Raptor truly ambidextrous?

Yes. The lever extends on both sides of the receiver, allowing you to manipulate the bolt from either your strong side or support side without repositioning your hands on the rifle.

What does mil-spec anodized mean?

Mil-spec anodizing is a military-standard surface treatment that hardens the aluminum and provides superior corrosion and wear resistance compared to standard anodizing. It's designed to withstand hard use and environmental exposure.

What's the advantage of aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum?

7075 aluminum is one of the strongest aluminum alloys available and is used in aerospace applications because it offers excellent strength-to-weight ratio. In a charging handle, it means you get a component that's light, strong, and resistant to deformation under hard use.
