Old Timer
The Old Timer Sharpfinger is a no-nonsense fixed blade hunting knife built on a classic design that's proven itself in the field for generations. At 7.1 inches overall with a 3.30-inch stainless steel clip point blade, this is a compact, versatile skinner that handles everything from field dressing to camp tasks without bulk or weight. The full tang construction means the blade extends the entire length of the handle for maximum durability—there's no weak point where handle meets blade, which matters when you're counting on a tool in rough terrain or tough conditions.
The Sharpfinger's Delrin scales (the fancy word for the handle) are designed with a sawcut texture that keeps your grip solid even when your hands are wet or cold. That lanyard hole gives you the option to tether it to a pack or belt, a simple feature that prevents a quiet loss in the backcountry. Stainless steel doesn't demand the fussy maintenance of carbon steel, so this knife shrugs off moisture and neglect better than its high-carbon cousins—a real-world advantage for hunting trips where you're focused on game, not gear care.
Weight in at just 2.8 ounces, it's light enough that you won't feel it on your belt or in a pack. Old Timer includes a genuine leather sheath, so you're ready to go straight out of the box. This is the kind of knife that doesn't reinvent the wheel; it just does the job reliably, year after year, without asking for much.

Yes. The 3.30-inch clip point blade is designed for the work—it's a classic skinner shape that's been used in the field for decades. The compact size and full tang construction make it reliable for game processing and camp work without excess bulk.
Stainless steel resists corrosion and requires minimal maintenance, which is why the Sharpfinger is a good choice if you hunt in wet conditions or don't want to fuss with oiling and storage. At 2.8 ounces, it's genuinely light. You won't feel it on your belt or in a pack, yet the full tang and stainless blade deliver the durability you need for real work.
