Nosler
The Nosler Partition 338 caliber 250 grain spitzer bullets have been a trusted workhorse for hunters and reloaders since 1948. These are the rounds that built Nosler's reputation—a controlled-expansion bullet design proven across decades of field use on everything from deer to elk and beyond. If you're handloading for a 338 rifle and want a bullet that consistently performs at a wide range of velocities, the Partition deserves a spot on your bench.
The dual-core construction is the secret to the Partition's staying power. A lead-alloy core in the front expands rapidly on impact, while an integral steel partition separates it from a rear core that stays largely intact. This design delivers two things hunters need: quick energy transfer for fast knockdown and deep, reliable penetration. The copper-alloy jacket ruptures uniformly outward as it mushrooms, retaining roughly two-thirds of the original bullet weight—enough mass to reach vitals even in heavy bone and muscle.
Each box contains 50 rounds, ready to load into your cases. The 250 grain weight is a natural fit for 338 cartridges used in hunting and long-range shooting. These bullets work across a broad velocity range, so whether you're loading for a standard 338 Winchester Magnum or pushing them harder, the Partition's expansion characteristics remain consistent and reliable.

The 250 grain Partition is designed for 338 rifle cartridges. Nosler does not provide a compatibility chart in the supplied information, so we recommend consulting Nosler's loading data or a trusted reloading manual to confirm suitability for your specific cartridge and rifle.
The Partition design retains approximately two-thirds of the original bullet weight after expansion, allowing the rear core to remain largely intact for deep penetration.
The dual-core lead-alloy design delivers consistent mushrooming characteristics across a broad range of impact velocities, making the Partition reliable whether you're shooting at moderate or longer distances—as long as you're loading within your cartridge's safe velocity parameters.
Each box contains 50 bullets, ready to reload into your prepared cases.
