The Nosler Partition 7mm 160 grain spitzer bullets are a reloader's go-to for 7mm rifle cartridges when you need consistent, deep-driving performance on big game. Since 1948, Nosler built its reputation on these bullets, and they remain one of the most trusted hunting rounds in the field because they do exactly what you ask—expand reliably and penetrate deep. A 50-count box gives you the volume you need for load development and serious hunting seasons without constantly restocking.

What sets the Partition apart is its engineering. The dual-core design separates the bullet into two distinct lead alloys, divided by an internal partition. That front core ruptures and mushrooms on impact, while the partition holds back the rear core intact. The result: rapid expansion for energy transfer, plus the weight retention you need for pass-through performance. The fully tapered copper-alloy jacket curls back uniformly as it expands, maximizing that mushroom shape across a wide range of impact velocities—whether you're shooting at 100 yards or stretching it out at distance.

Handloaders choose Partitions because they're reliable. You get consistent performance across different game weights and shooting scenarios, and the construction is forgiving enough to work well even if your velocity varies slightly from load to load. For 7mm rifles—whether a .280 Remington, 7mm Magnum, or 7x57—the 160-grain weight sits in the middle of the sweet spot: heavy enough for elk and larger game, yet not so heavy that you lose velocity in standard cartridges.
