The Nordic Components MXT 12 Gauge Shotgun Magazine Extension Tube Kit adds 4 rounds of capacity to compatible 12-gauge shotguns, giving you more firepower without changing your gun's handling. Built from anodized 6061 aluminum, this magazine extension tube kit includes everything you need to get up and running: the extension tube itself, a properly matched spring, and an end cap. It's a straightforward way to increase your shotgun's magazine capacity for hunting, sport shooting, or home defense—without the bulk or weight of a heavier gun.
The MXT design keeps things simple and reliable. The tube is machined with matching thread pitch on both ends, so you can reverse it for positioning adjustments depending on your shotgun model and barrel length. A relief groove built into the extension eliminates unnecessary barrel clamp travel, which means better repeatability after you break down your gun for cleaning. Whether you're running through clay courses or working game in the field, that consistency matters when your setup matters.
One thing to know upfront: you'll also need to purchase the correct Nordic Components Extension Tube Nut separately—the nut that matches your specific shotgun model. This kit handles the magazine capacity side; the nut is the interface between the tube and your gun. Nordic Components makes nuts for a range of shotgun platforms, so verify compatibility with your model before ordering. Once you've got both pieces, assembly is straightforward and no gunsmithing is required.

You'll need to purchase the correct Nordic Components Extension Tube Nut separately. The nut is specific to your shotgun model and serves as the threaded connection between the tube and your gun's magazine assembly. Nordic Components makes nuts for many shotgun platforms—verify yours is available before ordering.
The Nordic Components MXT line does offer Benelli-specific models (marked with a "B" designation), but the product information provided does not specify whether this particular +4 extension is engineered for Benelli M1 or M2 guns or other models. Confirm compatibility with Nordic Components or your dealer before purchase.
Yes. The tube is machined with matching threads on both ends, allowing you to reverse it for positioning adjustments. The relief groove can also be located in different spots depending on how you install the tube, giving you flexibility to dial in the fit for your barrel length and shotgun model.
No gunsmith required. This is a straightforward magazine extension that you can install yourself once you have the correct extension tube nut for your shotgun. If you're unsure about installation, contact Nordic Components or your dealer for guidance specific to your gun.
