The Nightstick LGL170 rechargeable long gun light kit is a complete weapon-mounted lighting system built for serious rifle, carbine, and shotgun work. At 1500 lumens with a tight 304-meter beam throw, this is the kind of tactical light that transforms how you see targets in low-light hunting, home defense, or range scenarios. The kit ships fully equipped with everything you need to mount and power it—two 18650 lithium-ion batteries, a charger, mounting hardware, and both a tail cap switch and a 6" remote pressure pad, so you can activate the light the way that makes sense for your shooting position and hold.
Built from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with a Type III hard-anodized black finish, the LGL170 is engineered to take real use. The deep parabolic reflector focuses the LED output into a sharp beam designed to reach distance—crucial when you need to identify targets or track movement beyond contact distance. The light handles both momentary and constant-on activation through either switch, giving you the control to use it tactically. Mounting flexibility matters too: the kit includes a standard Picatinny mount plus an offset option, so you can clear a front sight, magnified optic, or other rail-mounted gear while keeping the light in a natural support-hand-accessible location. A wire management clamp keeps the remote cable organized and snag-free during transitions.
Runtime on the rechargeable setup runs 1.5 hours on a full charge—long enough for a serious hunting or training session. Since the LGL170 also runs on CR123 batteries as a backup, you're never stranded if you forget a charged cell. IP-X7 waterproofing means rain and splashes won't kill your light in the field, and the impact-resistant design survives the recoil and rough handling real rifles see.
