The Nightstick TWM850XL is a compact, high-output weapon-mounted light built for handgun users who need serious illumination at distance. At 850 lumens with a 245-meter effective beam, this tactical light delivers the brightness and throw needed to identify threats or targets far downrange—far beyond what a typical EDC or home-defense light provides. The light mounts via modular rail inserts (included), making it compatible with standard Picatinny rails on most tactical handguns.
What sets the TWM850XL apart is its completely ambidextrous design. Dual toggle switches—one on each side—give you momentary-on and constant-on modes regardless of your shooting hand or how you're holding the gun. That matters when you're in a dynamic situation and need one-handed operation without fumbling for controls. The light is built tough: aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum housing with Type III hard anodized finish, rated for 2-meter drops and IP-X7 waterproofing. It's made to survive the job.
The TWM850XL runs on two CR123 lithium batteries (included) and delivers 1.75 hours of continuous runtime. Note that rechargeable batteries are not compatible—stick with standard CR123s. With a compact footprint and 5.4-ounce weight, the light won't throw off your handgun's balance or printing profile in a holster. For serious shooters who want a weapon light that won't quit when it counts, this is a proven choice.
