The Maxim Defense SCW Stock Gen7 in black is a purpose-built AR-15 stock system designed for shooters who prioritize compact handling without sacrificing adjustability. Unlike standard AR stocks that rely on button-activated mechanisms, the SCW deploys with a simple pull—no fidgeting with controls when you need to shoulder your rifle fast. This makes it a natural choice for home defense, tactical training, and other real-world scenarios where speed and reliability matter.

The Gen7 stock collapses to just 4.0 inches, making it ideal for short-barreled rifles, close-quarters work, and situations where a compact footprint keeps you mobile. At full extension, it reaches 8.8 inches, giving you five solid positions to dial in the length of pull that works for your body and gear setup. The Maxim system uses proprietary materials and engineering tuned specifically for this stock platform—which means it doesn't play well with standard AR-15 buffer tube parts. This complete kit includes the SCW stock assembly, a matched standard-weight buffer, buffer spring, and a shortened bolt carrier group already tuned to run reliably with the system, so you're not hunting for compatibility parts.

If you're building or upgrading an AR-15 for home defense, CQB training, or any role where a short, no-nonsense stock makes sense, the Maxim Defense SCW delivers the kind of thoughtful engineering that separates purpose-built gear from generic solutions. It's built to work hard and feel solid every time you use it.
