Maxim Defense Industries
The Maxim Defense CQB Stock Gen7 is a combat-ready AR-15 buttstock built for operators who need fast deployment and a compact profile without sacrificing adjustability. Unlike traditional stocks that rely on buttons or levers, the Gen7 uses a simple pull-to-deploy action—no complexity, no fumbling in tight quarters. At just 5.3 inches when fully collapsed, it's purpose-built for close-quarters work, PDW builds, and scenarios where overall rifle length matters. Fully extended, it matches a standard carbine stock length, giving you four solid positions to dial in comfort and control for different shooting situations and body armor setups.
Maxim stripped the Gen7 down to essentials: a 7075 aluminum housing with MILSPEC anodized finish, rapid-deployment mechanics, and genuine durability under duty use. The new streamlined design eliminates the side sling swivel attachment points in favor of an installed ambidextrous sling mount, giving you a cleaner, sleeker profile. It's fully compatible with standard MILSPEC AR-15 lower receivers, your existing bolt carrier group, and full-auto platforms. The stock accepts five different buffer tube options—standard, H1, H2, H3, and a proprietary 9mm PCC buffer with JP Silent Captured Spring—so you can tune recoil impulse and cycling to your build and ammunition without buying a new stock.
Built for real-world use rather than marketing hype, the Gen7 delivers the adjustability and compact footprint that CQB shooters, home-defense builders, and short-range tactical operators actually want. At 18.5 ounces, it won't weigh down your platform, and installation is straightforward on any standard MILSPEC receiver.
