The Muddy DV8 Mammoth Jacket in Veil Canyon Grey is a purpose-built hunting layer designed to keep you warm and dry in serious cold. Built from 100% polyester composite microfiber fleece with a durable water-repellent finish, this jacket sheds rain and snow while the smooth anti-pilling lining preserves its shape through seasons of hard use. The 100gsm insulation works where it matters most—your core—without the bulk that kills mobility in the field.
Whether you're glassing from a ridge, settling into a long sit, or moving through timber, the DV8 Mammoth balances protection with freedom of movement. The articulated hood won't fight you when you're scanning country, and the integrated harness port keeps your safety harness discreet and ready if you're hunting from the tree. Drop-tail hem coverage protects your backside when you're seated, and dropped cuffs with stretch gussets adapt to your wrist—no gap for wind to find. Zippered hand and chest pockets keep necessities secure while you work, and YKK zippers run silent so you stay undetected.
Temperature range of 0°F to 30°F with layering makes this a genuine cold-weather workhorse, not a three-season compromise. If you hunt hard in serious conditions and need a jacket that doesn't apologize for what it does, the DV8 Mammoth earns its place in your kit.
