The Muddy DV8 Mammoth Jacket in Veil Canyon Grey is a serious all-weather hunting parka built for backcountry hunters who won't let cold or wet conditions keep them off the mountain. This 3XL jacket combines waterproof construction with thoughtful design details that prioritize both protection and fieldcraft—keeping you dry without the noise or bulk that compromises your hunt.
Built from a polyester composite microfiber fleece with a water-repellent finish, the DV8 sheds rain, snow, and moisture while the 100gsm insulation layer traps warmth where it matters most: your core. The soft fleece lining resists pilling and maintains its thermal properties through multiple seasons of hard use. What sets this jacket apart isn't just the materials—it's the details. YKK zippers run silent and smooth when you need to access gear without spooking game. The zippered chest and hand pockets keep critical items secure whether you're hiking out or glassed in on a distant ridge. Articulated hood construction gives you full freedom to range binoculars and glass without restriction, while dropped cuffs with stretch gussets adapt to different wrist sizes and seal out wind and cold.
The drop-tail hem provides extra coverage when you're sitting glassing for hours, and the integrated harness port lets tree stand hunters attach their safety gear quickly and discreetly. Rated for 0°F to 30°F conditions with layering, the DV8 Mammoth is a three-season workhorse for elk country, whitetail, and any hunt where weather is a factor.
