The MTM Portable Red Rifle-Shotgun Gun Maintenance Center is a field-ready cleaning workstation built for shooters who want to service their firearms at the range or in camp instead of hauling gear back home. Unlike a traditional cleaning kit stuffed in a box, this dedicated maintenance center gives you a stable platform and organized workspace—critical when you're working with solvents, patches, and small parts in the field. The red powder-coated steel construction is built to take abuse, and the compact footprint means it stows easily in a truck bed or trailer.

The maintenance center features two pop-out support forks—each over-molded with rubber to protect your rifle or shotgun from dings while it sits during cleaning. The forks can hold two cleaning rods simultaneously, keeping them organized and within reach. A pair of sliding dust covers seal the interior, protecting your brushes, solvents, and patches from dirt, dust, and weather. When you're not actively cleaning, this containment keeps spills and mess from spreading across your workspace. The base design accommodates storage of cleaning supplies, and the RMC-1-30 platform is compatible with MTM's Case-Gard Shooter's Accessory Box (Catalog # A-760-40) for integrated transport—the maintenance center sits on top for a complete mobile gun care system.

Beyond rifle and shotgun barrel work, this center doubles as a stable platform for mounting scopes, installing swivels, bedding actions, or any gunsmithing task that needs a secure work surface. Whether you're a competitive shooter who cleans between stages, a hunter prepping your rig at basecamp, or a reloader maintaining your firearms year-round, having a dedicated space keeps your focus on the work, not balancing guns and tools on a tailgate.
