The MTM Case-Gard GV30 gun vise is a dedicated cleaning and maintenance station that brings serious gunsmithing capability to your workbench without the serious price tag. Whether you're running routine bore cleaning, adjusting triggers, mounting optics, or doing detailed action work on rifles or shotguns, this vise holds your firearm securely and positions it exactly how you need it—level for sight installation or tilted for drainage when flushing actions. The single-adjustment clamp applies pressure evenly while soft, non-marring jaws protect your gun's finish, so you can work with confidence on firearms you care about.
Built from chemical and solvent-resistant polypropylene, the GV30 is engineered to withstand the solvents, cleaners, and oils that are part of regular gun maintenance. Its modular storage design keeps your entire cleaning kit organized and within arm's reach: 14 compartments hold cleaning supplies, tools, and small parts that tend to vanish, while a divided tray slides to reveal additional compartments in the vise base itself. Eleven screwdriver bit holders double as convenient slots for jags, brushes, mops, and rod implements, so your complete cleaning system stays together.
Two integrated cleaning rod holders along the underside keep your rods stable and off the bench while you make adjustments—a small detail that makes the difference during longer sessions. This gun vise works with rifles, shotguns, and other long guns, making it a practical choice for hunters, sport shooters, and anyone who maintains multiple firearms and wants one solid, organized station to do it all.
The GV30 is designed to hold and secure rifles, shotguns, and long guns. Its adjustable positioning and clamp system accommodate different firearm profiles, making it suitable for most long-gun maintenance and cleaning work.
Yes. The GV30 allows you to position your firearm level or at an angle, depending on your task. Level positioning works well for optics installation and adjustments, while angled positioning is useful when flushing an action and you need gravity to help with drainage.
The vise features 14 separate compartments to organize cleaning supplies, plus a divided tray that slides to reveal additional compartments in the vise base for storing smaller items. It also includes 11 screwdriver bit holders, which can hold bits, jags, brushes, mops, and rod implements.
The clamp features non-marring jaws designed to hold your firearm securely without marking or scratching the finish.
