Mountain Billy Gun Lab
The Mountain Billy Gun Lab GOAT-15 H2 is a lightweight .22 LR short-barrel rifle built for shooters who want a nimble, fun platform for plinking and range work. At just over 2 pounds unloaded, this 7.5-inch barreled SBR delivers the handling characteristics serious .22 enthusiasts crave—quick to move, easy to manage, and built on a proven blowback semi-automatic action. The fully extended stock reaches 22.25 inches, making it compact enough for tight spaces while the 7-position adjustable buttstock ensures a comfortable fit for different shooting positions and body types.
Mountain Billy Gun Lab engineered this rifle with polymer lower and upper receivers to keep weight down without sacrificing durability. The 15-inch Picatinny rail with M-Lok slots gives you flexibility to mount optics, lights, or other tactical accessories—though you'll need to add your own sighting solution. The supplied 10-round magazine pairs well with the rifle's lightweight profile, and the patented tamper-resistant safety keeps the action secure. With a 1:16 right-hand twist CMV steel barrel and black oxide finish, the GOAT-15 H2 is designed to run reliably through thousands of .22 rounds.
This is the gun for shooters who don't take themselves too seriously but respect quality craftsmanship. Whether you're training new shooters, running suppressed, or just spending an afternoon at the range, the GOAT-15 H2's light recoil, affordable ammunition, and compact footprint make it an ideal workhorse .22 SBR.
