Mountain Billy Gun Lab
The Mountain Billy Gun Lab Goat 15 Atom is a lightweight .22 LR pistol built for shooters who value portability and straightforward reliability. Weighing just under two pounds unloaded, this compact blowback semi-automatic is at home in a backpack, survival kit, or range bag—making it a natural choice for hikers, overlanders, and anyone who wants a dependable rimfire without the bulk. The polymer construction keeps weight minimal while the 7.8-inch CMV steel barrel with a 1:16 right-hand twist and black oxide finish handles standard .22 LR ammunition.
The Atom's design prioritizes ergonomics and user control. A patented tamper-resistant safety mechanism protects against accidental discharge, while the polymer upper and lower receivers keep things simple and durable. The rear-mounted 1913 Picatinny rail opens up optics mounting options—a red dot sight pairs naturally with this platform for faster sight acquisition than iron sights alone. Single-shot semi-automatic action means each trigger pull fires one round, giving you deliberate, controlled shooting whether you're plinking, training, or addressing a backwoods task.
Out of the box you get two magazines—one single-round and one ten-round capacity—so you can configure for the mission at hand. No sights are included, but the rail system makes mounting your choice of optic straightforward. At 14.1 inches overall length with M-Lok and Picatinny mounting options, this pistol accepts a brace if you want to configure it for your shooting style.
