Mossberg
If you own a Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag and need a versatile barrel for upland game, waterfowl, or clay shooting, the Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag 12 Gauge 28" All-Purpose Barrel is a straightforward replacement that expands your shotgun's capabilities. This OEM barrel keeps the proven Ulti-Mag platform reliable and simple—no guessing about fit, function, or reliability. The 28" length splits the difference between handling and sight picture, making it comfortable for most shooters across different hunting and target scenarios.
The barrel comes dressed out for practical shooting: a ventilated rib helps you track targets and manage recoil sight picture, while dual beads provide a clean reference for aiming. The matte blued finish matches the rest of your 835 and resists glare in the field. Smooth bore means the barrel will pattern whatever shot load you choose without the fuss of rifled slugs or sabot—ideal if you're focused on shot rather than dedicated slug hunting.
The real value here is the included Accu-Mag choke set and wrench. You get three chokes (Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full) to dial in your pattern and velocity for the load and distance at hand. If you've been stuck with a single fixed choke or want to fine-tune your shotgun's performance without buying aftermarket tubes, this set handles it. Drop the barrel onto your 835 Ulti-Mag receiver, swap chokes as needed, and you're ready to hunt or shoot.
