The Mesa Tactical Leo Gen 2 Telescoping Stock Kit for Remington 870 transforms your shotgun with AR-15–style ergonomics and adjustable length of pull—a purpose-built system designed for law enforcement, tactical operators, and serious shooters who demand professional-grade performance. This complete kit replaces the factory stock with an investment-cast aluminum adapter that accepts standard AR-15 collapsible buttstocks and pistol grips, giving your 870 the handling characteristics and versatility of a modern rifle platform without gunsmithing.
The Gen 2 design refines every detail based on operator feedback. The adapter is more compact than earlier versions, with a forward-angled pistol grip (modeled after M1911 geometry) that creates thumb space and accepts high-comfort beavertail grips like the included ERGO grip. The end-plate geometry sits lower on the sides, reducing contact under recoil. A low sight-line keeps your iron sights or bead on target. Multiple sling attachment points—including Mesa Tactical's signature pocket-hook loops—adapt to any carry style. Adjustable length of pull means one shotgun fits shooters of different builds, accommodates body armor, and lets you fine-tune your shooting position instantly.
This kit includes everything to start: the Leo adapter, M4-style telescoping buttstock assembly, ERGO pistol grip, steel stock wrench, and push-button sling swivel. For shooters prioritizing recoil control and shot placement, Mesa Tactical offers optional Kynshot Hydraulic Recoil Buffer upgrades that can reduce felt recoil by up to 70%—a feature favored by professional operators requiring sustained accuracy.
