The Maxim CCS Stock Gen6 is a tactical adjustable rifle stock built for shooters who demand a full-length cheek weld without compromise—whether you're running a short-barrel rifle, pistol-caliber carbine, or standard 16-inch build. Designed by Maxim Defense Industries and refined through their proven CQB stock lineage, the CCS (Combat Carbine Stock) integrates solid attachment and quick deployment into a package that works with your existing bolt carrier and buffer system, keeping installation straightforward and upgrades affordable.

What sets the Gen6 apart is its geometry: you get a consistent cheek rest even when the stock is fully extended, which matters for sight picture, optic alignment, and shot consistency across different shooting positions and body armor configurations. Three positions of adjustment let you fine-tune length of pull to your arm length and gear, while dual built-in sling mounts give you flexibility for sling routing and carry options without aftermarket hardware.

The black finish pairs tactical durability with a profile that works in duty, competition, and field roles. If you're upgrading from a standard mil-spec stock or building a precision short-barrel setup, the CCS Gen6 rewards you with ergonomics and modularity that pay dividends on the range and in the field.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the Maxim CCS Gen6 work with my existing AR buffer tube and spring?

Yes. The CCS Gen6 is designed to work with your existing buffer tube, bolt carrier, and spring—no additional parts required for installation. Buffer and spring are not included, but you can reuse what you already have.

What's the advantage of the full-length cheek weld at full extension?

A consistent cheek rest across all length-of-pull positions means you maintain proper sight picture and optic alignment whether the stock is fully collapsed or fully extended. This is especially valuable when running body armor or different shooting positions that change your natural stock position.

How many sling attachment points does it have?

The CCS Gen6 features two built-in sling mounts, giving you routing options for single-point, two-point, or specific carry setups without requiring additional hardware.

Is the CCS Gen6 designed for short-barrel rifles or full-length carbines?

The CCS Gen6 is engineered for both. Whether you're building a short-barrel rifle, pistol-caliber carbine, or running a standard-length setup, the adjustable design and quick-deployment features work across the board.
