The Magpul MOE TR carbine stock is a lightweight, mil-spec AR platform stock engineered for shooters who value fast adjustments and zero-fuss installation. At just 8 ounces, it's one of Magpul's leanest offerings—perfect for hunters, sport shooters, and tactical rifle builders who care about keeping every ounce in check. The TR stands for Trigger Release, a naming nod to its signature ambidextrous slider mechanism that handles both length-of-pull adjustments and toolless removal in one textured, easy-reach control.

What sets the MOE TR apart is its one-handed takedown lever on the bottom of the stock. No spring wrestling, no specialized tools—just unlock the lever (via a visual padlock icon indicator), and the stock slides off the receiver extension smoothly. That same ease applies to installation: collapse the trigger fully, slide the stock home, lock the lever, and you're done. This design philosophy carries through to LOP adjustment too; the ambidextrous trigger slider lets you dial in your length of pull without breaking down the rifle or hunting for a tool.

For sling work, Magpul integrated ambidextrous M-LOK slots on each side of the stock's rear. Run a direct footman's loop through them, or use them to mount optional M-LOK QD attachments for push-button swivels. The takedown lever itself is partially recessed, so it won't snag on your gear or sling when slung up. The stock is also compatible with Magpul's ASAP and ASAP QD receiver-mount sling hardware, as well as the MOE SL Enhanced Rubber Butt-Pad (0.70" model) if you want to stretch out your LOP further or add premium cushioning.

Built for mil-spec carbine tubes on AR15, AR10, M4, M16, M110, and SR25 platforms, the MOE TR works with receiver extensions from established makers like Colt, LMT, Ruger, S&W, and SIG. It's the stock to grab when you want a rifle that's easy to configure, quick to adjust, and light enough to matter on a long day afield.
