Running an AK platform rifle with optics, red dots, or precision sights means dialing in the right cheek weld—and sometimes that means lifting your face a quarter inch higher on the stock. The Magpul MAG445-PLM AK Cheek Riser is a tool-less clip-on riser that adds exactly 0.25 inches of height to your cheek position on MOE AK or Zhukov-S stocks, letting you achieve proper sight picture and scope alignment without replacing your stock or shimming solutions that eat up space.

This is purpose-built for shooters who've invested in Magpul's modular AK platforms and need a clean, reversible way to raise their sight line. The cheek riser attaches without tools—no screwdrivers, no guesswork—and it won't compromise the storage cavity on the MOE Stock or the folding mechanism on the Zhukov-S, so your stock functions exactly as designed. Whether you're zeroing a rifle optic, running an offset red dot, or just prefer a higher cheek mount for accuracy, this accessory solves the problem in plum.

Magpul's attention to detail shows here: the riser is engineered to integrate seamlessly with Magpul's own stock systems rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all solution. If your setup is an AK with either of those stocks and your optics or sights sit just a hair too low for your natural head position, this is the fastest path to consistent, comfortable shooting geometry.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this work on my AK stock?

The Magpul MAG445-PLM is designed specifically for MOE AK and Zhukov-S stocks. If your rifle uses one of those Magpul stocks, you're good to go. If you're running a different stock platform, this riser won't be compatible.

Do I need tools to install it?

No. The cheek riser is tool-less and clip-on, so you can attach or remove it in seconds with your hands.

Will it block my MOE stock's storage compartment?

No. The riser is designed to not interfere with storage access on the MOE Stock or the folding mechanism on the Zhukov-S Stock, so full functionality of your stock is preserved.

How much height does this add?

The MAG445-PLM raises your cheek weld by exactly 0.25 inches, giving you a modest but meaningful boost in sight picture height for optics and elevated sights.
