The Magpul MAG332-BLK Sling Mount Kit Type 2 gives you a second QD socket option on your rifle stock, letting you run sling attachments ambidextrously or add flexibility to your setup. Built from heavy-duty black phosphatized steel, this Type 2 kit is designed to work alongside Magpul stocks like the UBR, STR, SGA, MOE Rifle, MOE Fixed Carbine, MOE AK, Zhukov-S, and the Hunter 700 and Hunter X-22 models. Whether you're setting up a left-side attachment point to mirror an existing socket or configuring true ambidextrous sling options, this kit handles the job with straightforward, solid construction.

Installation is simple—the Type 2 kit uses either the original hardware from compatible stocks or ships with the necessary hardware from an optional Type 1 Kit. If you're looking to run dual QD swivels on stocks that come with a Type 1 socket pre-installed, pairing a Type 2 kit gives you the symmetry and flexibility serious shooters and hunters appreciate. It's engineered for rugged use and built to take the weight and strain that comes with field work, whether you're hunting, running drills, or moving between positions.

One important note: the sling swivels themselves are not included with this kit—you'll need to source Magpul QD swivels or compatible third-party options separately. This keeps the cost down if you already have what you need, and gives you the freedom to choose the exact attachment style that works for your rig.
