Magpul
The Magpul Daka GRID Organizer for Pelican V700 is a modular, reconfigurable storage system built to transform how you organize and protect your gear inside a hard case. Unlike traditional foam inserts that compress, absorb liquids, and lock you into a single configuration, the Daka GRID uses interlocking expanded polypropylene (EPP) panels and blocks to immobilize your rifles, optics, ammunition, and accessories without the drawbacks of open-cell foam. Whether you're a competitive shooter managing multiple loadouts, a hunter protecting expensive optics and gear during transport, or anyone who needs flexible, tool-free organization in the field or at home, this system adapts to your needs in seconds.
Built for the Pelican V700 Vault, the Daka GRID replaces the stock foam with a lightweight, durable alternative that resists absorbing contaminants, stands up to temperature swings, and cleans up with nothing more than a damp cloth. The compression-based design holds gear firmly in place during transport, reducing movement and improving impact protection compared to traditional foam. Individual panels nest together securely, and you can remove the center panel to accommodate equipment up to approximately 4.25 inches wide—or carefully cut EPP blocks if you need a truly custom cavity, without sacrificing the material's strength or protective qualities.
Setup requires zero tools. Pull out the blocks, arrange them to fit your gear, and you're done. Swap loadouts between hunts, matches, or operations just as easily. The system comes ready to go, with base panels, a mix of triple and double blocks, and replacement base foam included. It's a smarter alternative to expensive laser-cut inserts and the rigid limitations of one-size-fits-all foam—practical, versatile, and built for people who demand their gear stay organized and safe, no matter what they're carrying.

Yes. The Daka GRID is specifically designed as a drop-in replacement for the standard foam insert in Pelican V700 Vault gun cases.
Absolutely. The GRID system is endlessly customizable and requires no tools to reconfigure. You can rearrange the panels and blocks to accommodate different rifles, optics, ammunition, and accessories, and change your setup in seconds whenever you need a new loadout.
EPP is lighter and stronger than traditional open-cell foam, and the compression-based design holds your gear in place more securely during transport. Unlike foam, EPP resists absorbing liquids and chemicals, and it's simple to clean with a damp cloth. It also offers better temperature stability and won't degrade or compress over time the way foam does.
Yes. If you need to accommodate gear wider than the standard layout, you can carefully cut the EPP panels and blocks. The material cuts smoothly and does not lose its strength or protective properties after cutting.
