Cleaning brass cases by hand is tedious and often leaves residue behind—quality ammunition starts with clean brass, and that's where the Lyman Turbo Treated Tufnut Walnut Brass Cleaning Media comes in. This 7-pound box of tumbler media is purpose-built for reloaders who want faster, more consistent results without the mess of wet cleaning. The walnut shell base is treated and fortified with rouge, creating an abrasive compound that cuts through powder residue, primer buildup, and oxidation to restore cases to a polished state ready for the reloading bench.

Tufnut media works in rotary tumbler systems and is designed to handle volume—whether you're processing a few hundred cases from last season's hunting or staging brass for a serious reloading push. The rouge-bearing formula means you get cleaning and polishing in one step, which saves time and keeps your brass uniform in appearance and preparation quality. At 7 pounds, you have enough media to handle multiple batches before it loses effectiveness and needs replacement.

Reloaders rely on media like this because case cleanliness directly affects sizing consistency, seating pressure, and overall load reliability. Walnut-based media is gentler on cases than ceramic or steel alternatives while remaining aggressive enough to do the job properly. This is the workhorse option for precision handloaders and high-volume shooters alike.
