Luth-Ar
The LUTH AR Lightweight 16" Rifle Kit with Fixed Stock gives you everything needed to assemble a complete AR-platform rifle except the stripped lower receiver. Whether you're building your first AR or adding another to your collection, this kit bundles a fully assembled upper, lower parts kit, and your choice of buttstock—all the core components in one package.
The upper assembly centers on a 16" lightweight barrel in 5.56 NATO, dressed with a 15-slot KeyMod palm handguard and topped by an A3-style upper receiver with integrated picatinny rail. The barrel itself is 4140 chrome moly steel, button-broached with six lands and grooves, a 1-in-9 right-hand twist, and a threaded muzzle (1/2 x 28 pitch) capped with an A2 flash hider. Gas system runs a carbine-length tube paired with a .750-diameter gas block, feeding via M4-spec feed ramps. The bolt carrier is fully assembled and ready to run .223/5.56 ammunition. The lower parts kit is complete and caliber-matched to .223/5.56, so you're not hunting for springs, pins, or selector levers.
Stock choice is yours: go with the MBA-1 fixed rifle buttstock if you prefer a traditional length of pull, or upgrade to the MBA-3 adjustable carbine buttstock for versatility across shooters and gear configurations. Either way, you'll need to source a mil-spec stripped lower receiver separately—a straightforward step that lets you pick a finish or rollmark that matches your vision.
This is a solid foundation for a practical rifle: hunting-weight, modular, and built around proven AR ergonomics. 16" barrels strike the balance between velocity, portability, and handling that works across most applications—from deer season to 3-gun to general range use.

The one thing you supply is a mil-spec stripped lower receiver, which you'll need to source separately.
Yes, this kit is built around standard mil-spec dimensions. Any standard mil-spec stripped lower receiver will work with the upper and lower parts kit included here.
The MBA-1 is a fixed rifle-length buttstock with a traditional cheek weld and longer length of pull. The MBA-3 is an adjustable carbine-length buttstock, offering flexibility to shorten the stock for different shooters or when wearing body armor or heavy gear.
The 16" barrel in 5.56 NATO is a practical size for hunting applications, offering good balance between velocity and portability. However, caliber choice—whether you're running standard 5.56 or .223 Remington—and the game you pursue will ultimately determine suitability; your local hunting regulations may also restrict or require specific cartridges.
This kit includes the upper already fully assembled and the lower parts kit ready to install. Assembly of the lower receiver does require basic AR gunsmith tools, such as a roll pin punch set and upper/lower vise blocks. A professional gunsmith can complete the assembly if you prefer.
