The Limbsaver AR-15 Universal Snap-On Recoil Pad is a no-fuss upgrade for any shooter running a six-position adjustable stock — the kind of simple, effective addition that makes a real difference on the range or in the field. Designed with Limbsaver's air chamber technology, this 1/4" step-down rubber pad attaches directly to your existing stock without tools, adding meaningful recoil mitigation without a trip to the gunsmith or a stock swap.

Felt recoil reduction of up to 60% is a serious claim, but Limbsaver backs it up with a design built specifically around absorbing and dispersing energy away from your shoulder. That translates to less fatigue over long sessions — whether you're running drills at the range, zeroing a new optic, or hunting from a blind where you need to stay sharp for follow-up shots. The air chamber construction works with the rubber to soften the impulse you feel, while also helping keep the rifle planted firmly against your shoulder for better control and faster target re-acquisition after each shot.

The snap-on design is the real convenience play here. There's no permanent modification, no adhesive, and no need to disassemble anything — it secures onto most six-position adjustable AR-15 and M4-style stocks and can be pulled off just as easily. That makes it a smart option for shooters who share rifles, run multiple uppers, or just like keeping their setup flexible. The step-down profile also helps maintain a consistent length of pull without dramatically changing the feel of your stock.

Built to hold up in harsh outdoor conditions, this Limbsaver recoil pad is the kind of low-profile addition that earns its place on the rifle fast. If you're running an AR with a standard six-position stock and want to take the edge off without overhauling your setup, this is one of the simplest and most effective ways to do it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What stocks is this Limbsaver snap-on recoil pad compatible with?

This pad is designed to fit most six-position adjustable AR-15 and M4-style stocks. It's marketed as a universal fit for that stock platform, but if you're running an unusual or aftermarket stock, confirm the general six-position format before ordering.

Does this recoil pad require any permanent modification to my stock?

No. The snap-on design attaches and detaches without tools and without any permanent changes to your stock. It's fully removable whenever you want.

How does the air chamber technology work?

Limbsaver's air chamber design is built into the pad to absorb and redirect recoil energy away from your shoulder rather than passing it directly through. Combined with the rubber construction, this helps reduce felt recoil by up to 60% and minimizes muzzle jump for faster recovery between shots.

Will this recoil pad change the length of pull on my AR-15?

The pad features a 1/4" step-down rubber profile, which adds a modest amount of thickness to the rear of your stock. This may slightly increase your effective length of pull, so keep that in mind if you're fitting the rifle to a smaller-framed shooter.
