The Lee Round Flat Nose Pistol Mould is a 6-cavity casting tool built for reloaders who want to produce consistent, quality cast bullets in volume. If you're committed to casting your own .358" 158-grain pistol rounds—whether for range work, practice, or hunting—this mould delivers the precision and durability you need at a straightforward price. The 6-cavity design lets you turn out ammunition faster than single-cavity alternatives, making it practical for shooters who go through rounds regularly.
Built around aluminum blocks, this mould resists rust while heating quickly and evenly—critical for consistent bullet casting. The aluminum also bonds reliably to the steel, ensuring the blocks stay permanently attached and ready for repeated use. Both halves are CNC machined for accuracy, so your cast bullets come out uniform cavity to cavity. The hard anodized sprue plate operates via a cam mechanism, giving you smooth, repeatable cycles without binding or wear. Spring washers made from tempered steel lock the plate down at both ends, holding everything rigid under casting temperatures.
Note that handles are sold separately, so you'll need to pair this mould with Lee casting handles to get started. Once you do, you've got a workhorse tool that will serve you through hundreds or thousands of cast bullets. It's the kind of straightforward, no-frills equipment that serious reloaders reach for when volume and reliability matter more than flash.
| Cavity Count | 6 |
| Bullet Caliber | .358" |
| Bullet Weight | 158 gr |
| Bullet Style | Round Flat Nose |
| Primary Material | Aluminum blocks with steel components |
| Sprue Plate Type | Hard anodized, cam-operated |

Yes. Handles are sold separately. You'll need to purchase Lee casting handles (or compatible handles) to mount this mould and begin casting.
This mould is designed specifically for .358" diameter, 158-grain round flat nose bullets. It is not adjustable for other calibers or weights.
The 6-cavity design is built for volume production. You can cast six bullets per cycle, making it efficient for reloaders who cast regularly. The aluminum blocks heat quickly, and the cam-operated sprue plate supports repeatable operation through many casting sessions.
The aluminum blocks are naturally rust-resistant. Combined with proper care and storage, this mould will hold up well over time. The hard anodized sprue plate also resists corrosion.
