Lee Precisiom
The Lee Precision 90752 Pacesetter 2-Die Set for 35 Whelen is a no-fuss reloading die set built for hunters and range shooters who want repeatable accuracy without overthinking the process. This 35 Whelen reloading die set comes with the essentials: a full-length sizing die with micrometer adjustment, a bullet seating die, a universal shell holder, a powder measure, and load data instructions. It's the kind of straightforward kit that works whether you're running fire-formed brass from your own rifle or mixing range pickups—which means you can focus on what matters: making your ammunition shoot straight.
The micrometer-equipped sizing die lets you dial in consistent neck tension and shoulder bump with precision, eliminating the guesswork that trips up new reloaders and frustrates veterans. Uniform starting pressure is the foundation of accuracy, and controlling where your bullet sits in the case—especially the ogive-to-rifling relationship—makes a measurable difference downrange. If your 35 Whelen's magazine limits how far you can seat bullets, you can still tune accuracy by adjusting seating depth within that constraint; for shooters who want to add a Lee Factory Crimp Die later, that's a straightforward path to even tighter groups.
Lee's Pacesetter line hits the sweet spot between user-friendly and capable. The included powder measure and load data get you started the same day, and the universal shell holder works across multiple calibers if you expand your reloading bench down the road. Whether you're working up loads for deer season or dialing in a prairie rifle, this die set gives you the adjustment range and repeatability to turn fired brass into ammunition you trust.

Yes. The full-length sizing die in this set is designed to handle mixed headstamp and fired range brass, making it ideal if you're not working with virgin or fireformed cases from a single rifle.
The micrometer lets you control neck tension and shoulder bump with precision, which creates uniform starting pressure—a key factor in consistent accuracy. You can dial in the exact dimensions your rifle prefers without trial and error.
You can still achieve good accuracy by adjusting seating depth within your magazine's constraint and ensuring consistent bullet seating. If you want to add even tighter control, Lee makes a Factory Crimp Die (sold separately) that can further refine accuracy on restricted seating depths.
