Lee Precisiom
The Lee Precision 6mm ARC Precision Micrometer Bullet Seating Die brings precision reloading to modern cartridge handloaders who demand consistency without the premium price tag. Built specifically for 6mm ARC, this seating die uses micrometer-controlled depth adjustment to eliminate guesswork and deliver uniform seating across every round you load. If you're building match-grade ammunition or hunting loads that group tight, dead-length bullet seating with repeatable accuracy is non-negotiable—and this die delivers it.
What sets this seating die apart is its floating bullet guide system. Rather than forcing the case and bullet into rigid alignment, the guide floats with radial clearance, allowing the case and bullet to seat perfectly centered relative to the seating stem. The result: minimal bullet runout and cleaner, more consistent bullet-to-cartridge relationships. The stem itself is machined and burnished smooth to handle nearly any bullet profile—polymer tips, hollow points, flat bases—without marring or deforming the projectile on its way into the case.
The micrometer thimble is laser-engraved for clarity, marked in thousandths of an inch just like a precision depth micrometer, so you can dial in your seating depth and return to it shot after shot. Infinitely adjustable with no hard detents to hunt through, you get the exact depth you want. A clever reversible floating guide also allows you to seat and crimp in a single stroke if your process calls for it—a feature Lee reserves for this line.
| Cartridge | 6mm ARC |
| Type | Rifle Precision Micrometer Bullet Seating Die |
| Brand | Lee Precision |
| Adjustment | Infinitely adjustable micrometer (0.001" graduations) |
| Bullet Guide | Floating, reversible, with radial clearance |
| Seating Stem | Machined and burnished |
Yes. The floating bullet guide is reversible—unthread it and reinstall it to configure the die for simultaneous seating and crimping, an exclusive feature in Lee's precision line.
The machined and burnished seating stem is designed to handle nearly any bullet point style without damage or marking, including polymer tips, hollow points, and flat-base designs.
The micrometer thimble is marked in 0.001" increments and reads like a precision depth micrometer. Once you dial in your desired seating depth, the infinitely adjustable micrometer allows you to return to that exact setting for every round.
The floating guide has radial clearance that allows the case and bullet to align naturally with the seating stem, rather than being forced into a rigid fixed alignment. This centering reduces bullet runout and delivers more consistent concentricity shot to shot.
