Lee Precisiom
The Lee Precision 260 Remington Collet Neck Sizing Die Only is a precision reloading die engineered for handloaders who demand consistency and longevity from their brass. Unlike conventional sizing dies that rely on full-length resizing, this collet-style die uses a squeeze-type design that grips the case neck against a precision mandrel, delivering a neck fit with minimal runout—a critical factor for accurate rifle ammunition. If you're loading for a 260 Remington and want to extend case life while improving concentricity, this die delivers performance without the added complexity of a full die set.
The collet method eliminates the need to lubricate cases before sizing, streamlining your reloading workflow. Because the design is gentler on brass, cases maintain integrity through more reloading cycles; Lee claims you'll get roughly ten times the case life compared to standard dies. That means fewer replacements and more rounds downrange from the same box of brass—the cost savings add up quickly.
This is a neck sizing die only, so it handles the neck-sizing stage of your reloading process. It's built for 260 Remington, so verify your caliber matches before ordering. Whether you're a precision rifle competitor, a long-range hunter, or a handloader who values efficiency, this die suits workflows where neck tension and runout matter and you want brass to last.
This is a neck sizing die only. It handles neck sizing for the 260 Remington and is not a full-length die set.
No. The collet design does not require case lubrication, which simplifies your reloading prep step.
Yes, this die is engineered specifically for 260 Remington cases.
A collet die uses a squeeze mechanism to grip the case neck against a precision mandrel, producing minimal runout and gentler sizing action that extends case life significantly compared to conventional die designs.
