Lee Precisiom
The Lee Factory Pistol Crimp Die for .30 Tokarev/Mauser tackles one of reloading's trickiest challenges: consistently crimping bottleneck pistol cases. If you've ever struggled to get a clean, uniform crimp on these cartridges, this die changes the game. Lee's collet-based design applies a rifle-style crimp that grabs the case shoulder with enough force to form a crimp groove without requiring bullets pre-grooved for the job—a real time-saver when you're working through large batches or using bullets not originally designed for these rounds.
Reloading .30 Tokarev or .30 Mauser demands precision and the right tools. Standard handgun dies often leave you frustrated with inconsistent results, but Lee's factory crimp die's collet mechanism delivers the kind of holding power you need for reliable chambering and consistent velocity. Whether you're working up loads for a Tokarev pistol or vintage Mauser variants, this die ensures your finished rounds feed cleanly and perform predictably downrange.
Lee Precision dies are built for serious reloaders who don't want to compromise on function. This crimp die pairs well with other Lee handgun reloading equipment and integrates into any standard progressive or single-stage press setup. If you're neck-deep in bottleneck pistol reloading and tired of wrestling with uncooperative cases, this is a straightforward solution that delivers results.

The Lee Factory Pistol Crimp Die is designed to work with standard single-stage and progressive reloading presses that accept standard die threads.
No. The collet mechanism is powerful enough to form a crimp groove directly into the case shoulder, so you can use bullets without pre-existing crimp grooves.
These are bottleneck pistol cartridges with a unique case geometry that makes crimping difficult with standard handgun dies. Lee's factory crimp die's collet design is engineered to handle the specific shoulder angle and profile of these rounds reliably.
A rifle-style crimp applies consistent, secure hold on the bullet without relying on a traditional taper crimp. This is especially useful for bottleneck pistol cases where a taper crimp alone may not provide adequate grip, ensuring reliable feeding and consistent velocities.
