Lee Precisiom
The Lee 90955 Collet Neck Sizing Rifle Die for 22-250 Remington is a precision reloading die designed for handloaders who want tight neck fit and minimal runout in their rifle ammunition. Unlike full-length sizing dies that resize the entire case, this collet neck sizer works by squeezing the case neck against a precision mandrel — a process that gives you control over bullet seating depth and shot start pressure without the need for a separate crimping operation. For 22-250 shooters building ammunition for hunting or long-range target work, consistent neck sizing translates to better accuracy and more predictable performance downrange.
The collet design is what sets this die apart. By sizing only the neck, you're preserving case dimensions and reducing unnecessary work hardening — which means cases last longer and your ammunition stays more consistent from round to round. The mandrel can be adjusted so your bullet seats with light contact to the rifling, establishing a repeatable shot start pressure that traditional dies often can't match without additional steps. This makes it especially valuable if you're loading precision ammunition where every variable counts.
Whether you're a seasoned handloader refining your 22-250 loads or someone new to neck sizing, the Lee Collet Neck Sizer offers a straightforward way to improve ammunition quality. Lee's reputation for making effective, affordable reloading tools is well-earned, and this die delivers on that promise without overcomplicating your bench setup.

Neck sizing resize only the case neck to fit the bullet, rather than resizing the entire case body like a full-length die. This preserves more of the case's original dimensions, extends brass life, and typically produces ammunition with less runout and better consistency.
This collet neck sizer is designed for 22-250 Remington cartridges. Always verify that your brass matches the die's specifications and follow the die manufacturer's instructions for proper setup and use.
Yes. The precision mandrel in the collet design can be adjusted so that your bullet seats with light contact to the rifling or as close as you prefer, giving you control over shot start pressure without a separate crimping step.
The die is threaded for standard reloading press mounting. Consult your press manual and the Lee die instructions for proper installation, adjustment, and operation specific to your equipment.
