Lantac
The Lantac Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group for .762 is a precision-engineered upgrade designed for shooters running AR-platform rifles who want smoother operation, better reliability, and reduced wear on critical components. Built with an M16 full-auto profile for increased mass and lock time, this .762 BCG uses 8620 steel for the carrier and Carpenter 158 or 9310 for the bolt—both shot peened and magnetically particle inspected to ensure consistent quality. Whether you're running a suppressed short-barrel setup or pushing your rifle hard at distance, the Lantac E-BCG's proprietary design philosophy focuses on reducing stress on your upper receiver and smoothing out the energy curve during the firing cycle.
The signature feature is Lantac's patented forward-facing, shrouded gas port design that redirects exhaust gas flow differently than a standard carrier. This results in a flatter recoil impulse, softer initial carrier movement, and notably cooler, cleaner operation. The enlarged forward ports also help mitigate upper-receiver pressurization—a particular concern with suppressed short-barrel rifles where excess gas can build up and cause sluggish cycling or increased wear. The flared boss at the rear of the carrier seats more consistently in the buffer tube, promoting smoother and more reliable function across the firing sequence.
Durability is built into every detail. The entire carrier undergoes QPQ (quench-polish-quench) nitride coating, a hardened case finish that resists corrosion and reduces friction for a buttery smooth feel. The gas key is hard chrome lined per mil-spec, staked at four points, and uses only grade 8 fasteners. The proprietary CP-R360-H domed cam pin is machined from 17-4PH stainless and hardened to H900, reducing wear in your upper receiver compared to standard squared cam pins. All critical dimensions are hard turned and ground after heat treat for dimensional consistency. At 1 lb 2.1 oz, this BCG is heavier than mil-spec, which contributes to that smoother lock time and energy absorption.
Lantac backs every E-BCG with a lifetime warranty and manufactures them right here in the USA. This is a DPMS Gen 1 pattern carrier compatible with both full-auto and semi-auto operation—a no-compromise upgrade for hunters, precision shooters, and suppressor enthusiasts who demand reliability without compromise.

This is a DPMS Gen 1 pattern BCG, designed for .762 rifles. It is full-auto and semi-auto compatible.
The Lantac E-BCG is designed to reduce upper-receiver pressurization caused by suppressed barrels through its patented forward-facing port design and enlarged vents. However, it is not a complete solution for all over-gassed systems—individual rifle configurations vary, and heavily over-gassed guns may still experience issues.
The CP-R360-H domed cam pin is machined from 17-4PH stainless steel and hardened to H900 condition (approximately 45 Rockwell C). The smooth domed head reduces wear inside the upper receiver compared to squared-off standard cam pins.
Yes, the Lantac Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group is covered by a lifetime warranty.
