Lantac
The Lantac Dragon muzzle brake with SilencerCo ASR quick detach suppressor mount is a precision-engineered recoil management system built for shooters who demand performance and versatility. Machined from hardened stainless steel and finished with nitride for corrosion resistance, this 5/8x24-threaded brake is designed exclusively for 7.62/308 caliber rifles. It combines Lantac's patented gas handling technology with SilencerCo's proven ASR mount interface, letting you run suppressed or unsuppressed without changing hardware.
What sets the Dragon apart is its approach to managing impulse energy. The brake's unique gas distribution system works to minimize muzzle rise and recoil signature, while the Short Energy Pulse design keeps recoil duration short enough that follow-up shot energy won't stack and push you off target. Whether you're shooting bolt-action precision strings or running full-auto drills, the goal is the same: keep your sights on steel. The ASR quick detach interface means you can mount any compatible SilencerCo suppressor—including the Saker Omega—and swap it on and off without tools or re-zeroing concerns.
This is a two-piece system: the brake itself is the anchor point, and the ASR adapter threads onto your barrel. It ships with a complete shim kit (.075mm, .11mm, .22mm, .34mm, and 2mm washer) so you can time the brake for optimal performance on your specific setup. If you're building a versatile 308 rifle that might run suppressed on some days and brake-only on others, or if you want genuine recoil reduction without sacrificing the ability to add a can later, this is solid engineering.
| Caliber | 7.62/308 |
| Thread Size | 5/8x24 |
| Material | Stainless Steel |
| Finish | Nitride |
| Suppressor Mount Type | SilencerCo ASR Quick Detach |
| Hardness | 48Rc |
| Shim Set Included | Yes (0.075mm, 0.11mm, 0.22mm, 0.34mm, 2mm washer) |
The SilencerCo ASR quick detach interface is compatible with SilencerCo suppressors designed for that mount system, including the Saker Omega. You can also mount the SilencerCo Blast Shield using the same interface.
The Dragon brake functions as a standalone muzzle brake with recoil-reduction technology. The ASR mount adapter allows you to add a compatible suppressor when you choose to, but the brake is fully operational without one.
The brake ships with four shim sizes (0.075mm, 0.11mm, 0.22mm, and 0.34mm) plus one 2mm washer. These allow you to index and time the brake correctly on your barrel for optimal performance.
The brake is designed for 7.62/308 rifles; the facts provided don't specify platform restrictions, so compatibility depends on your specific rifle and barrel thread pattern. If your rifle has a 5/8x24 barrel and fires 7.62/308 ammunition, this brake will physically install—confirm with your rifle manufacturer if unsure.
