Kleen-Bore
Keeping a rimfire clean doesn't require complicated gear—just the right jag. The KleenBore JAG227 is a precision cleaning jag built for .22 and .25 caliber rifles, and it's engineered to make the tedious part of gun maintenance actually efficient. The barbed point design grips your cleaning patch firmly, whether you're running it dry or soaked with solvent, so it stays put while you push it down the bore. No slipping, no bunching, no wasted effort. This is the kind of straightforward tool that seasoned shooters keep in their cleaning kit because it works.
The barbed tip is the key feature here. It's not just sharper—it's precisely designed to hold a patch without tearing it or letting it slide off midway through your stroke. Whether you're cleaning after a range session or maintaining a rifle between hunts, a secure patch makes the difference between a quick job and a frustrating one. Built with American Standard 8-32" threads, it fits standard cleaning rod tips and integrates seamlessly into any existing setup.
Made in the USA, this jag reflects KleenBore's long reputation for no-nonsense gun care accessories. It's not fancy, but it's reliable—the kind of tool that doesn't draw attention because it simply does what it's supposed to do, every time.

Yes, if your cleaning rod uses standard American 8-32" threads. This is the universal standard for most consumer rifle cleaning rods, but verify your rod's thread size before ordering to ensure compatibility.
The barbed tip physically grips the patch fibers, holding it firmly in place during the cleaning stroke. This prevents patches from slipping off or bunching up mid-bore, making the cleaning process faster and more effective.
Yes. The barbed design works equally well with dry patches and patches saturated with solvent or bore cleaner, giving you flexibility in your cleaning routine.
The JAG227 is designed for .22 and .25 caliber rifles, which covers most .22 LR, .22 Magnum, and .25 caliber rimfire and centerfire applications. Confirm your rifle's bore diameter before purchasing.
