Hornady
If you're precision loading 7mm rounds with Hornady A-MAX bullets, the Hornady Custom Grade New Dimension Die Seater Stem is a critical upgrade to your reloading setup. This machined seating stem is engineered specifically for Hornady Custom Grade dies and shaped to match the exact profile of A-MAX projectiles. The result is consistent, damage-free bullet seating that tightens your cartridge tolerances and improves accuracy downrange — essential for long-range hunting and target shooting where every round needs to perform identically.
Reloaders know that generic seating stems are a compromise. They're designed to work with multiple bullet shapes, which means they don't work optimally with any of them. This stem eliminates that guesswork. Because it's machined to the A-MAX profile rather than a one-size-fits-all geometry, you get better bullet alignment in the case, smoother seating action, and less risk of deforming the bullet tip during the process. For handloaders focused on consistency and precision, that's the difference between good ammo and great ammo.
This is a component for Hornady Custom Grade reloading dies only — it won't fit other manufacturers' equipment. If you're already running Hornady's custom grade line and want to upgrade your seating process, this stem puts you in control of final cartridge quality.
No. This stem is designed for Hornady Custom Grade dies exclusively and is not compatible with other manufacturers' dies.
It's machined specifically to match the shape of Hornady A-MAX bullets, providing a more precise fit that seats bullets more consistently without damaging the projectile.
This seater stem is for 7mm A-MAX bullet reloading.
